Jacob tricked Esau again. Esau wanted to kill Jacob. So Jacob ran away.
That night Jacob slept under the stars.
In his dream he saw a staircase. Angels were going up and down.
Then God said, “Jacob, I promise to be with you. I’ll never leave you,. You and your family will have the good things I promised to Abraham.”
